This is the first of two “aged beers “ that are produced by the brewery . They are kept at a consistent cellar temperature which allows them to develop complexity and richness as time passes. Inspired by the strong beers of the Trappist and abbey breweries in Belgium it is a dark amber beer with flavours of vinous fruit, port, rich malt, floral and herbal hops and a lingering gentle spicy hop finish.

This beer is featured in “ 300 More Beers To Try Before You Die ” and was awarded First place in the East Midlands RAIB competition in 2012 then going on as a finalist to the Champion Bottled Beer Of Britain in 2013.

Hops: Hersbrucker (German) and Mount Hood (USA).

Malts: Pilsner, Munich, Aromatic, Special B, chocolate and wheat.

Allergen Information: Contains GLUTEN in the form of BARLEY and WHEAT.

Due to alcohol legislation a person over the age of 18 must be present to take delivery of the order. If that person appears to be under the age of 25 then proof of age will be requested.
